Project Homeless Connect

A day of action that brings together services, support, and connection for our unhoused neighbors. Council for the Homeless partners with community organizations to offer immediate, on-site care—strengthening our collective efforts to end homelessness in Clark County.

Save the Date: Project Homeless Connect returns on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Project Homeless Connect

Every January, Council for the Homeless and its community partners come together to support unhoused community members through a day of service. The day begins with the Point in Time Count, coordinated by Council for the Homeless staff and dozens of volunteers who head out across Clark County before sunrise to count as many unhoused people as possible.

As the count wraps up, people are welcomed to our day-long Project Homeless Connect event—a day of action focused on meeting immediate needs. Volunteers, service providers, and community organizations gather in one location to offer essential, no-cost services. These include a nutritious meal, eye exams, foot and wound care, a clothing closet, behavioral healthcare, housing and shelter resources, pet care, assistance with signing up for public benefits, and more—all available on the spot.

Are you interested in participating in this day of service by offering support or services to guests? Email Maggie Bernetich, Annual Giving and Events Manager, at mbernetich@councilforthehomeless.org

Please note: Space is limited. Priority will be given to partners who offer same-day services, have participated in past events, or provide services not already represented by other community partners.

It takes courage to be able to say, okay I want some help and need housing. After several years of being in and out of the hospital, I haven’t been back once during the year I’ve been in my apartment.

We want to thank our volunteers and community partners who help make Project Homeless Connect, 2026, an amazing day of service.
