Introduction to the CoC Application Process
A Continuum of Care (CoC) is a regional or local planning body that coordinates housing and services for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. The Clark County CoC consists of over 100 stakeholders across multiple regularly held meetings. The CoC Steering Committee serves as the governing body, with the Council for the Homeless (CFTH) as the lead agency and designated Collaborative Applicant.
Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) releases a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for CoC Homeless Assistance Program funding. The CoC submits a Consolidated Application, including an individual project application for each program seeking funding.
We encourage new organizations to apply. New project applications will be ranked competitively alongside renewal applications.
